Are Court Records Public in Jefferson County?

Jefferson County Family Court Records

Adoption Records

Birth and Death Records
Vital records for Jefferson County births and deaths are held by the Oregon Health Authority's Office of Vital Records — not the county. Birth certificates are restricted to the record owner, their parents (including stepparents and grandparents), spouse, registered domestic partner, legal guardian, or authorized representative. Short-form (computer-issued) birth certificates cost $25.00; long-form (full image) certificates cost $30.00. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Death certificates are similarly restricted and are not public records. Eligible requesters include immediate family members, the funeral service practitioner, beneficiaries or trustees, and authorized legal representatives. Jefferson County Probate Court Records
